I enjoy this image because although it seems very unstaged and candid, I think the image works well as a whole. The composition is very nice, the way the objects on the table lead your eye up to the cake, and then to the girl. It has the feeling of an old family photo, like the ones you would find in an album. I like the color scheme and the fuzziness too; they add to that "old family photo" idea.
